Frida’s Margarita

  • 2oz Doña Vega
  • .75 oz fresh lime juice
  • .5 oz agave
  • 1 inch of a cucumber, chopped
  • 3 basil leaves
  • 1 dash of angostura bitters
  • Mezsal Jalapeño Cucumber Salt rim

Start by rimming half of your martini glass or coupe with Mezsal jalapeño cucumber salt and add a large ice cube. In a shaker tin, muddle the chopped cucumber until it looks like a puree. Next, rip the basil leaves into pieces and place them into the tin. Add the remaining ingredients along with some ice and shake well. Strain into your glass and garnish with basil leaves and cucumber.
