- 2 oz Doña Vega Mezcal
- .75 oz salted watermelon syrup
- .75 oz lime
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 4 oz club soda
To make salted watermelon syrup: combine 1/2 cup juice, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Shaken until dissolved.
To make cocktail: Fill shaker tin with ice, add Doña Vega, salted watermelon syrup, lime juice, bitters and shake. Strain into a highball glass filled with 3-5 mint leaves and ice. Top off with club soda. Garnish with mint sprig and watermelon slice.
